How To Use Your Amor Cera Aromas Gel Melt!

If you’ve never used a gel melt before, don’t worry. They may look a little different, but they’re incredibly easy to use and designed to be enjoyed again and again.

Here’s everything you need to know to get the most from your Gel Melt.

Step 1: Remove the Gel

Simply peel the gel out of the pot. It’s soft and flexible, making it easy to remove.

Next, tear off around one third of the gel. This is the perfect amount for most standard tealight burners.

Step 2: Place it in your burner

Place the piece of gel into the dish of your tealight burner.

Use an unscented tealight underneath to gently warm the gel and release its fragrance.

Step 3: Enjoy the fragrance

Light your tealight and enjoy your chosen scent.

For the best performance, we recommend burning for up to 4 hours at a time.

Step 4: Let it cool

Once you’ve finished using your burner, allow the gel to cool completely before touching it.

The gel will return to its solid, flexible state, making it easy to handle.

Step 5: Peel, Flip & Relight 

One of the best things about Gel Melts is that they can be reused.

When the gel has cooled:

• Peel it out of your burner.
• Turn it over.
• Place it back into the burner.
• Light a fresh tealight.

Most Gel Melts can be flipped and reused around 3 to 5 times, although this can vary slightly depending on the fragrance and how long each burn lasts.

Step 6: Time for a fresh piece

Eventually, you’ll notice the fragrance becoming much lighter.

When this happens, simply peel the gel from your burner and replace it with a fresh piece from your pot.

No scraping. No mess. Just a fresh fragrance every time.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I use the whole Gel Melt at once?

You can, but a little goes a long way! Gel Melts are highly fragranced, so using too much at once can produce an overpowering scent. We recommend starting with around one third of the gel, then adjusting the amount to suit the size of your room and your personal preference.

How many times can I reuse it?

Most customers will get around 3 to 5 flips from each piece before the fragrance fades.

Can I mix fragrances?

Absolutely! Once your burner has cooled, you can swap scents or even combine two fragrances to create your own unique blend.

Do I add water?

No. Gel Melts should always be used on their own without adding water or anything else.

Safety

• Never leave a burning tealight unattended.
• Keep away from children and pets.
• Always allow the gel to cool before handling.
• Do not move the burner while the tealight is lit or while the gel is hot.
• Use only in a suitable tealight burner.
